I'm happy to take a look Simon ,I'll be off work for the better part of a month with my knee ,I'll be doing more work on the Owen gun but I'm sure I'd have time to have a look see .

A hop would be interesting but no idea how you would fit it.

It's pretty easy actually. If it's design is like their Nagant, there are guides on youtube and on a couple of forums. Just need some basic tools, some fiddling and some patience.

Hmm, I feel a fettle coming on...

Got mine last night. Will test today and look at how to fit a hop-up. The shells are 38 and I wonder if they are the same as fitted to some of the other airsoft revolvers out there.

Here she is, only lacks a hop-up which has been added. Shoots at around 320fps (0.2g) and is a hefty large piece.

Here with Enfield 38

Interestingly 38Special and 357 cases do fit, so I may use those to make some extra cartridges up.

I am not sure but I think there is only aged and nickel. Some sites just call "aged" "black". I ordered black and it looks aged.

Bit of a necro post, but thought I'd give a heads up. Spare shells for the airsoft Webley are being sold at MILSPEC for just under £14 for six. Seems a wee bitty steep, but they're UK based and in stock last I checked.

You can find them HERE.

(They're also selling black and aged versions of the Webley, FYI)

Definitely prefer the aged look to the factory fresh one, aye. Seems a bit more appropriate in a WW2 setting, with many of them being outdated old codgers by that point. :P

I'm seriously debating getting a webley. If only it wasn't so much money!

They are beautifully crafted replicas, and mine fires very consistently.

Consistently into the ground, but that's what no hop-up does to a gun!

My 1911 has no hop either and the bb's fly straight up! At least if I got a webley somewhere between them I'd have a straight shooting gun!

Ralph

You managed that much consistency?! Mine doesn't go the same place twice, up down, right... no left yet but there's still time...

I do believe your Webley is haunted. Seek out a chaplain immediately!

I'd be interested to hear anyone's ideas/methods for fixing a hop-up into the Webley. :)
